Rae Webb - York

This restaurant is perfect for breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed and you have a wide selection of dishes to choose from, including some tasty extras like a dirty chai latte.

Whenever I visit York, I make sure to stop by Rae Webb. The service is consistently friendly, and the food and coffee are both delicious and affordable. Located just 5 minutes from York's city center, I highly recommend skipping the typical chain coffee shops and supporting this charming independent establishment instead.

The espresso was delightful. Although I did not have a meal, I will definitely be returning as the menu looked fantastic. The coffee was outstanding and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back.

This was our first visit it definitely won't be our last, really reasonable prices but no skimping on quantity or quantity. I had a delicious halloumi and salmon salad and my hubby had a avocado, halloumi and harrisa sandwich both were really fresh and tasty. The staff were really lovely too. Thank you.

I had read great reviews for this cafe especially their great coffee. On entering my friend and I were quite dismayed by the level of fat in the air. A little like walking into a transport café complete with steamed up windows. Scrambled egg on toast was lovely but the coffee had a strange taste which was very disappointing after the hype. In fairness they didn't charge me for the coffee and were very nice but they really need to sort out their extraction problem. When my friend went back to her locker at work later that day to collect her coat she was greeted by a strong waft of bacon fat when she opened the door! Very disappointing.
