Langton's Brasserie - York

Amazing choice , well cooked , lovely staff , dining room is characterful and I imagine lovely in late spring and Sumer

The food here is nothing in paticular and when you see what you get, it's expencive. We had fish for maincourse and a dessert afterwards since there were so little on the maincourse plate. Since it's a place that many use for weddings they should be able to do better. Only a few of the staff was brilliant, sad to say. The sandwich with tuna that we had the day before the meal with friends were ok, but not more than you can expect.

We came here for a birthday lunch celebration for about 50 and what a great show they laid on for us. We had to bring our own flowers but they did everything else imaginable. A lot of effort had gone in to the pre-planning so everything was in the right place when needed, the guest all had smart name cards at their place with their food choice listed. The pre-lunch drinks were all ready and glasses were refilled, the dining room looked fantastic and the low ceiling gave us plenty of party atmosphere. After a slow start the service was great and all guests said how delicious the food was. All this while the hotel had a wedding and a christening in different parts of the hotel. We could not recommend the pavilion and its restaurant service more highly

This pub serves delicious Sunday lunch into the evening. The pork was tasty, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the cheeseboard was lovely. Make sure to go hungry as the portions are generous. The restaurant offers great value for money and has a variety of Sunday lunch and bar food options to choose from.

We frequently dine at this restaurant because it is convenient and we love the menu options. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and the quality never disappoints.
