La Bottega - York

Since I discovered La Botega I can't just walk by! Not only the service is super quick (it felt like I got my drink within seconds) but the coffee is delicious. I had buffalo mozzarella and tomato sourdough as well which was very refreshing. The star of the show is definitely a Vienesse biscuit that I had few times already-it is truly mouthwatering. Lastly,their courtyard is a nice escape from the busy city centre. Would 100% recommend La Botega to anyone!

What a lovely restaurant! I came here wanting to try their cinnamon balls, which looked amazing in the window, but unfortunately they only make them on specific days of the week. The staff recommended trying their croissant instead, which they said was made from an Italian recipe with less butter and sugar, but surprisingly sweeter than expected. It was absolutely delicious – very airy and sweet. This place is perfect for a nice breakfast or a tasty treat, and it's also affordable. Thank you for a great experience!

The service and the personal here are simply wonderful, the coffee and tees are beautiful and the eating is super fresh. I have eaten both from the lunch menu and from the desserts here and am super impressed by both. offers vegan, veggie and gluten-free options to highly recommend a visit and sit in their sunny courtyard if they can!

This was my first visit to this coffee shop here in York,Received a very special warm welcome of possibly the dame owners who have a very informative tour of all cakes available to have with a drink. I felt that this a really nice touch finally an order (tee bag cut, coffee lemon balms,) that was taken by another pleasant worker, can be made payment by cash or card. the drink cakes were nice, I mentioned this. I will definitely make a return visit, and then a fidelity thirst card was given to me. has a very pleasant experience recommend you to visit here wile in york .
