Henshelwoods Deli - York

Delightful single origin espresso from Peru! Cute shop with what looks to be quality goods. I could definitely see myself coming back to pick up gifts.

Got charged £4 for a salad and hummus sandwich which was the only vegan filling available. The woman serving had just prepared a beef sandwich and didn't bother to change her gloves despite me asking for vegan options.... Very disappointed, won't be returning.

I went in to try and buy a jar of onion marmalade. They had no jars, but kindly gave me a small pot from the jar in their fridge which they use in sandwiches. Great service. I'll be back soon to actually buy something .

Best Deli in York. Great selection of amazing food and friendly staff. Their Christmas hampers are also a must.

Okay selection. Not as astounding as I had been led to believe. Charcuterie selection is limited and really expensive for what it is.£8 for 100grams of poncy salami, come on. I suppose you are a York next to the shambles premium. All in all I was really looking forward to this but was left a bit disappointed. C could do much better
