Fossgate Tap - York

Great turning point pub in the center of the city. popular with large groups so likely not ideal when they are after a quiet drink or meal. many good foods and drinks options available, although and we enjoyed what we had.

Found Fossgate Tap by chance, and glad we did. All the staff were great and the food was cracking can recommend the sweet and spicy pizza! Great place and will definitely go back if in York again.

One of my favourite pubs in York without a doubt. Love the atmosphere, love the staff, love the pints. Would leave a tip every time I go but I’m tighter than a nuns front bum so hope a well deserved 5 stars will do. Absolutely smashing it!

Following a genuine mistake with a food order , the staff and manager couldn’t have been more proactive to resolve .Their customer focus was exemplary . When the pizza,s arrived they were some of the best I have had in years, The Company should be proud of their staff and will defiantly return . 30/3/22

I had a drink and a meal here, and it was a great experience. The music was good, the staff were friendly, and they had an excellent selection of craft beers. I ordered the Fossgate kebab, the chicken dish, and the rare rump steak. No chips were necessary because everything was so delicious!
