Tastee Caribbean Food - Yonkers

The restaurant is incredibly affordable, with plates starting at $15 for just 3 pieces of meat, which are chopped up so that you end up getting half pieces. They also offer 4 dumplings, giving you a total of 1 full piece and one half. There are no small portion options, only medium and large. Unfortunately, the rice tastes awful and is mushy. The owner is friendly, but the staff could use some training in customer service. Fortunately, there are other Jamaican restaurants in Yonkers to choose from.

The meal I had was extremely salty and just not to my liking. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I regret spending my money on a meal that was not enjoyable. What is wrong with Yonkers?

I visited this quaint little restaurant where the owner, Chin, personally served me. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. It's a small family-owned business with a cool atmosphere and a quiet ambiance.

Great food. great location. I believe it is the only Caribbean restaurant in this opposite.

We had an awesome experience at this spot. We loved the first-rate ambience and the menu. The waiters were super affable. I am glad we eventually decided to try this restaurant.
