Bidrage med feedbackI have one issue with this place. The food is good. I visited twice in one week and both times I had curried chicken with rice and peas. The first time it was not spicy and delicious. The second time, however, I'm not sure if it was the rice or the curried chicken that was quite spicy. Consistency is important. Not everyone enjoys spice, and I would have been disappointed if I recommended it to someone based on my previous experience of it not being spicy. I was a big fan of the jerk chicken. I enjoy a good jerk chicken, but this one was just okay. The wait was very long, with only one counter person. I waited almost 20 minutes to be served while being next in line (no exaggeration).
Today, when we tried to place an order for our two free meals, along with orders from our other colleagues who planned to pay, we were told by the owner that the free meals had to be either curry or stew, which was not what he had previously agreed to. As a result, our office of 10-15 people will no longer be doing business with this restaurant. We are disappointed in the change of policy and lack of consistency in their promises. We appreciate the recommendation from Mr. Booth, but ultimately found the experience to be very disappointing. If you are considering ordering from this restaurant for lunch, we advise against it as they do not fulfill their promises and are untrustworthy.
I want to start by saying that the food at this restaurant is fantastic and it has been my top choice for a while now. However, I have had some negative experiences with the cashiers who have repeatedly overcharged me without hesitation. On three separate occasions, I have been double-charged and charged for items I did not even order. Furthermore, the cashiers are rude when confronted about their mistakes and try to rush customers out. This type of behavior is unacceptable and can greatly harm the reputation of the business.
Firstly, This place won?t get another dime out of me. The way they correct you for mispronouncing something on the menu is hilarious and kind of ridiculous. All I said was corn porridge instead of CORNMEAL porridge and lawd the way ?Chef? open his mouth to correct me, while the young lady serving the food rolled her eyes so far back in head, all I could do was chuckle to myself. Secondly, When ordering on Uber eats/door dash forget about it, they never have half the stuff on the menu. Twice ordering on Uber eats the woman called and said they had maybe 2 of the 6 items my family and I wanted. Thirdly, Chef (is what the young lady called the cook) the CORNMEAL (lol) porridge isn?t all that great. It?s watery and reminds me of the porridge my grandma would put in the babies milk to drink. Put more effort into your food like how you correct those for mispronouncing something ?wrong?.
Food is fantastic, but they never have the food on the menu u order off Uber eats, door dash, grub hub. They call me every time to say they don?t have something I order smh.
