Gooseberries - Yokine

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Gooseberries tonight. Relaxed atmosphere- great service and wonderful food. Drinks reasonable and we will be coming back.

This place has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. We live very close by and have been disappointed a few times. Given then owner the benefit of the doubt (considering we all have bad days) and I'm sad to say I shouldn't have. I've experienced staff being rude, trying to pressure us to leave early so they can close early. I've had a waitress try to take my plate before Ive finished eating and have had the fork in my mouth still.I've also seen the owner speak rudely to people and he was very abrupt to me and my friends. I won't be back.

Suggested for lunch on a Saturday by those who I was with and not disappointed. It's a smallish cafe/restaurant in an unusual location at the bottom of a block of units. Nonetheless, the style of the layout, both inside and outdoor seating, is very comfortable and welcoming. The lunch menu is reasonably sized for the number of dishes and well priced. The traditional nasi goreng was chosen and when it arrived it was very nicely presented with accompanying satay, sambol and small salad. The food was very fresh and full of flavour. My dining partners had the mie goreng and the curry and both said their dishes were very nice.Good coffee. A nice experience. Recommended. They now do a dinner service. Good parking available close-by. Will visit again.

Went with friends for lunch. Great food, a bit scratchy on the service, but they were busy. Nice spot away from the bustle of the city, catching nice breeze from the ocean.

Went there for lunch with friends. Great food, prices very reasonable. Loved the coconut water, pineapple and lime juices drink, was a lovely choice on a warm autumn day. Owner and staff could not have been nicer, providing excellent service. Even had a warm welcome for my Belgian Shepherd.
