Central Station And Grill - Yoakum

The ambiance is fantastic. The food is tasty, although not exceptional. My husband, who grew up in the Bronx, really loves their pizza; the crust has excellent texture and flavor. The chicken was quite good but could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. Considering it’s a small town, this place offers a fine dining experience and has a nice selection of wines.

What a fantastic little place! We were just passing through town and decided to stop in. We ordered the appetizer sampler, some egg rolls, and two pizzas: a meat lovers and a gluten-free Mediterranean. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh! The gluten-free crust was impressively crispy and sturdy—it held up well under the toppings without getting soggy. The toppings were amazing, and the pesto sauce was packed with flavor. Our server was attentive and friendly, doing an excellent job of managing our expectations regarding the wait time for our food because of the movie theater crowd next door.

The Hawaiian burger was fantastic! This restaurant tends to be quite busy, so be ready to spend some time here. I haven't sampled the bar myself, but I've heard the drinks are excellent. Our waiter was outstanding—very attentive even with the place being so crowded. I definitely recommend it!

We went here after watching a movie at The Grand. The food offerings may surprise you. Very good food and sweet tea. I couldn't tell if the staff was overwhelmed or understaffed. So wait times for service and continued services were a bit long. Otherwise the wait staff were great.

Stopped in here tonight on 10/18 while driving through. Food was amazing, service was great too. Hard to find a restaurant with just as good service as the food. Will return when we are back in yoakum.
