Y Yas Island Rotana

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the food is tasty, but we were surprised when we were charged AED26 for a small bowl of plain white rice that we asked for to go with our meal. This kind of charge is unheard of in Asian restaurants, where extra rice is usually offered for free. Considering the total bill, we felt this was not right. We will not be dining at this restaurant again.

We took our daughter here for dinner as she is visiting from the UK. It’s a lovely restaurant, great food, lovely staff and has a lovely relaxed feel to it. We highly recommend it.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had! Waited for an hour to get our food and it NEVER arrived! Both the server and the manager kept saying the food is coming but it never did. Do not recommend it.
