The Melba Estate at Coombe Yarra Valley

We had a lunch here after a tour through the house of dame nellie melba. eating was excellent, I had the slowly cooked bark that they didn't need to eat. my wife had the barramundi sensational! the weeping were tuned to every cure, and the whole experience including the attentive, but not intrusively waiting personal was simply excellent and should not be missed. all food very cheap for quality.

We have come since the last year to the coombe yarra valley for their premium high tea. without doubt this is my favorite place to enjoy a relaxing high tee. the service is excellent and eating is delicious. the personal is always attentive. what makes it a pleasure. it would be highly recommended. we're back for high tea today.

If this in the city in a smaller space it would be fine eating. great service, excellent eating and tuned weine of the weinberge. $75 for a two cure meal this caliber is a great worth. put it on the list for the. yarra valley.

Very bad experience, booked online for the devonshire tee and garden walk, showed up and they advised that the garden was closed and that they “do not know that we booked the garden tour as they did not book until day check”! fully understand that the dinge near/cancel... but to travel on this way after they were booked and not in advance to come out! as they would expect, we did not stay for the devonshire tea area! will not return, much better places for service and morning tea that actually honor / correspondingly booked on their website!

We went to Coombe for lunch on a Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. The Maître D gave us a warm welcome, wished us a happy anniversary and brought us a complimentary glass of champagne to start. We opted for the three courses for $80 (or...it’s $70 for two courses) and extra for the wine pairing. The food was heavenly and the wine was beautiful. We will definitely return. The service was friendly and attentive. The ceiling in the restaurant is magnificent and it is acoustically treated, so quiet considering the restaurant was full and the floor is concrete.
