Bidrage med feedbackThe personal was really friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. we both had a bite to eat and it was good! we will try the breakfast and a Sunday dinner again. I recommend to book if they go for dinner or Sunday dinner. we went in the afternoon and stayed until the early evening. when we left it, it was really busy.
Friendly service, excellent food and reasonable prices. This pub is traditional in style, and neatly decorated. Very clean in all the areas I saw. Good sized outside seating area. Pub is cited on a main road and not sure if its close to any big towns etc, most seemed to drive or taxi to it.
Booked a table for the only early ish available slot on a Saturday evening. The host was welcome to see us and we were seated quickly. The drinks, food and service was all of very good quality and most importantly we weren't given too much of a fuss. 3 courses for two was just over £60 and I deeply regret not swapping the potatoes served my Chicken Jo Jo for their home made chips. I appreciated that all deserts could be served with whichever accompaniment of custard, cream or ice cream as quite often I enjoy hot puddings with cold custard, please don't judge me for that. Good, honest pub grub with an inviting atmosphere, on my doorstep I don't think I'd change anything, thank you folks!
Lovely food as always, big portions, staff very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
Friends introduced us to this treasure and from the first meal and drinks we had with them at this divine Inn to the numerous (all very recent! meals we've enjoyed I would like to share with you I think this must be the best pub food that we've ever had. The quality of food, the sheer size of the portions, the wonderful coffee and even though we have always been bursting we always made space for the deserts. My fave of all time, apple and rhubarb crumble with either custard, cream or ice cream!! Mind, not custard out of a box either!! ANY excuse to return and I'm there even though we live 50 mins one way away!! PLUS, Yarm is a wonderful place to visit! Whichever way you look at it, YOU win! Enjoy!!
