Bidrage med feedbackAt the end of our week in the area at last we found this place serving delicious local dishes. The tartiflette was great served with a plate of charcuterie - suitable for those of the more greedy variety like me! Whilst my wife's tarte flambee pleased her enormously, as it was light but tasty.Everyone including the locals were very friendly and all joined in helping translate the menu and make recommendations. Very good value for such delightful food.Only disappointment was that it was our last night and couldn't go back!Booked via thefork which couldn't have been easier.Recommend to anyone if you're in the area.
The sign on this family run hotel and restaurant advertises "the king of Tarte Flambee" ... they do not disappoint. Paper thin crust, a sprinkling of fresh ingredients (I had the reblochon with potato, my husband had the munster). Generous green salads alongside. One of our sons ordered the tartiflette ... very nice ... but bring a big "apres ski" appetite ... perfectly cooked potatoes with smoky bacon and the perfect blend of cream and piquant munster cheese with a side salad and a large plate of local charcuterie ... he was in heaven!Be sure to start out with an aperatif of local "wines" .. rhubarb, sureau (elderflower), foin (hay!!!), groseilles (red currant), fraise (strawberry) ... either three "red" or three"flower" (we took one of each to share) ... served in tiny glasses (just a few sips) to enjoy over pre-dinner conversation and to help with the tough menu choices!!!We have a home in the area and although this was our first visit to Aubergedu Lac, it will not be our last!PS ... they may have outdoor seating but since this was a cold February/March evening it is not the season for outdoor .... yet ....
We went to the Auberge du Lac quite by chance by its proximity to the campsite where we were and had been very pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff, the affordable price and the quality of the dishes. We will certainly come back and, in the meantime, we recommend it to you closed eyes.
Just arrested for the restaurant. In a very warm and welcoming setting with a top service. Everything is very good and very well served, the miche and the pie a delight, the jambonneau sauce munster a treat. I recommend this place
Our stay from 22 to 27 December 2023 for Christmas Eve was delighted by the warm welcome and service of all the people employed, their kindness and availability and especially their smiles. Congratulations to the young people who serve at the table. We ate very well, traditional dishes made by the Chef de l'Auberge, the perfect Christmas meal to our taste and thanked him for the good quality of his kitchen. The rooms, there's what it takes, apart from a larger bed would have been better but it was comfortable. Cleanness nothing to say. We recommend your establishment and wish to return there. Thank you.
