Ironbar - Wynyard Quarter New Zealand

Horrible bar food! We ordered a chicken BBQ pizza that was super bland and tasted worst than domino's, store brought garlic bread and a beef burger that was below average with a soggy patty and bun, all of which lacked flavour! The wine selection was disappointing, the craft beer were all out and there was ni rosè. The merlo offered in replacement was flat and mediocre lacking the smoothness. BUT the Indian waitress k tonight was lovely and very welcoming and the only plus of dining here!

Great food here, been here a few times for work drinks and finger foods and was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. great place and highly recommended

Actually very very nice food here! I have been here on more than one occasion, both times for functions of some sort and thoroughly enjoyed the canapes and the other finger food that was brought out to us. The staff was friendly, courteous and very welcoming. #g1

Had an amazing lunch meal here earlier this week. Two of my colleagues and I were politely greeted and attended by, I'm going to guess, the owner. He was very attentive be and picked up when we were ready to order both our drinks and food. My friend and I got the chargrilled chicken burger which came with a side of fries. The chargrilled chicken had an amazing chargrilled flavour obviously. The meat tasted tender and fresh, as did the bun. My favourite part of this entire dish was the fries due to the texture and the seasoning! I quite like my fries softish, and I can't pin point the seasoning but I remember vividly thinking how it had to be some of the best chips, probably right after nandos : Would highly recommend Ironbar Cafe!

After looking for a decent place to eat and have a few drinks, we came across Ironbar and I must say it was a good decision. Atmosphere and vibes were good and exceptional service. Workers were very helpful and interactive. I like places with workers who interact with their customers more than just the hello, welcome and bye. Food and drinks were good. I must admit though, I LOVED the Crispy chicken with chilli coconut sauce
