First time come here, and that's absolutely delicious dish.. Me and husband having a dinner here, and we order some seafood menu and chicken stir fried rice. Food so yummy with affordable price.. Location is very easy to find.. They have lots of menu for Korean dish, they also sell alcohol which many options to choose. Recommend restaurant for you who craving Korean dish..

Lovely restaurant! Very clean, peaceful, delicious food. The Japchae was a little spicier than expected but really great anyway. Will go again! 너무 맛이 있는 음식 감사합니다!

This newly opened Korean restaurant is just amazing. I've negatively experienced lots of Korean places around Auckland CBD, and Hwarang is definitely the best one I know so far. I strongly recommend the grilled dishes chicken, pork, beef... . The food portion is really satisfying, 98% of the meat is lean instead of fatness, the traditional Korean spicy BBQ sauce is authentic! Whatever the soup you order here my favorite one is pork bone and potato , again the food portion never lets you down. Other dishes I've tried include beef salad, seafood pancake, and bibimbap. 5 stars for all. The owner is experienced in operating restaurants, they know what they need to do to make customers happy. The cost can be $30 $50 for 2 people. In my case, I'm already really really full with just one dish $14 $16 . They're doing opening special sets as well, include the main dish, salad, dumplings, soup, and drink! Make sure you check it out.

Tanpopo next door was closed so we decided to try this instead. The fried pork dumplings were really good with delicious juiciness. I ordered the pork kimchi stew. It came out bubbling and was the temperature of the sun. Once it cooled down it was very spicy and tasty. The pork was very chewy tho. We also had a spicy chicken with sweet onion. The portion was huge but the balance of sweet and spicy was great. They have $4 happy hour specials on house wine. Staff are friendly and we would return again
