Bidrage med feedbackAlways a charming place for delicious Indian food with personal, family style service, 3Nutmegs have added breakfast to their repertoire and it is as delightful as hoped. Superb bread and pastries, most of which are baked on the premises, are deliciously tempting. We had the best croissant we’ve had in Auckland and a lovely eggs Benedict with a hint of Masala and Turmeric. Husband and wife Vishal and Sheeta are thoughtful hosts and work hard to enhance the experience of every customer. Open every day except Monday V&S are trialing the concept for a few weeks to test the market before committing to the idea so get down and support them to ensure that we don’t lose this fab new venue in Upper Parnell Road.
We've recently discovered Indian food and the 3 Nutmegs was wonderful! We had the chicken tikka masala and kadai chicken. Both were quite tasty and we were able to choose a spice level that worked for our unique tastes. Watch for their hours before you go. We tried to go three times before we finally had success with a time when they were open.
Probably our third time coming to this place. As always food was excellent and everything was delish. My son especially loved the extra cheesy cheese Naan. Husband and I enjoyed the Punjabi Mixed Tawa Veg. First time to try the Pistachio Kulfi and that topped off the sumptuous meal we had for the night. Looking forward to our next visit
Fantastic. Tonight we stopped in for just starters and wine Lamb bites were tender, Potato Pakura has a crispy outer and savoury soft inside and the Lentil Fritters were a complete delicious surprise a slight sweet and slightly savoury cold dish. A modern and fresh approach to Indian inspired.
Wow! Wow! And once again wow! Unreal fresh flavours! Please dont mistaken this place for 'another Indian restaurant '. Far away from it. They might have your favourite classics on the menu, but what you are going to receive is really not 'classic '. Loved the wine as well. Tried Lamb bites and Tamarind prawns. Both of it 12/10. And the mains were Kadai Chicken and spinach Sagwala. Both automatically come with the fluffiest basmati rice you will ever have. Portions are spot-on to leave you happy and not sick full. Also I appreciate the dishes weren 't as oily as other Indian places. Garlic naan was light as air. Thesr guys put their hearts into menu and you can feel it every bite. Auckland needs more places like these! Yum! And will be back!
