Nite Day Cafe - Wynyard

The restaurant is a lovely place to visit. The sandwich could have been presented a bit more neatly, as it seemed somewhat haphazardly assembled, but it was still delicious.

It was my first visit. The service was quick, and the food was beautiful and highly praised.

I mistakenly left my belongings on the coffee table during my recent visit. After realizing my mistake, I called the cafe and was told that my items had been found, which was initially great news. However, since I live in Launceston and wouldn’t be returning anytime soon, I asked if they could be mailed to me, and I would happily cover the postage costs. The boss wasn't available the day of my first call, but a staff member provided me with their contact number. After making two calls and sending a text message, I received no replies. After waiting another week, I called again and was told that a staff member would arrange to send my belongings. I was feeling hopeful—until two weeks later when nothing arrived in the mail. I called for an update again, but the staff member I spoke to that day didn't have any information, so they relayed my message. Eventually, I received a call saying my items had been forgotten in a car boot and that they would be sent out on Thursday or Friday. Fast forward nearly two months, and my belongings finally arrived—only to find that the $50 coin album was missing, and I only received the empty sleeve. What a waste of time! The books I had purchased successfully arrived, which I had intended to donate to foster kids I was collecting for that month. But the missing coins, which were for my personal collection, left me feeling disappointed. The dishonesty and lack of integrity displayed by someone at the cafe is incredibly disheartening. It's upsetting to think that my belongings were found, only for someone to take them for themselves. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.

Best flake I've tasted in years off my friends plate) and I had Cajun chicken salad and it was perfect

Coffee was very average (weak and not a latte) chef didn 't know how to make a ham cheese and pineapple grill. Nachos arrived without the menu stated chicken or pork when questioned the staff the reply was it wasn 't asked for...steak sandwich very over priced for a piece of sizzle steak (2mm thick)Staff weren 't overly friendly, no smiles when greeting customers and didn 't offer to fix any issues. Won 't be returning
