Föhrer Fisch - Wyk auf Foehr

The fish restaurant Föhrer is a special feature because I haven't met it yet. It is a simple traditional fish restaurant outside. It is operated by Asians and traditional fish dishes added on the map with sushi. So we had a great bouillabaisse for appetizers. To the main course a sushi plate and a kind of crème brûlée to dessert. The sushi plate offers neat sushi, but only the standards – no games or California Rolls. I'm used to more diversity now. The variant of a Crème Brûlée (which is not called on on the map) comes in a wide dish, so there is much of the caramelized layer. The cream underneath is a little simple, but okay. The operators seem to be at least part of a family, including baby and toddler, who stay in the middle of the guest room. This is also unusual and pleasantly relaxed – perhaps not for everyone the right one. It's not disturbing. The service is friendly and attentive. For me a highlight: there is also Guinness.

The food was good. price and performance are necessary for reconciliation.

Fantastic delicious sushi, excellent quality. The selection is small, but very good. Scholle, Zander and also the Schnitzel very tasty. Service attentive, friendly and welcoming. We had first fooled ourselves to the exterior of the building, inside it is very cozy. Update 1 year later: Attention: Repeater! After a year we are now back on Föhr, and of course we have entered the best fish restaurant in Wyk. We were very excited about this first evening. Last year the service was very friendly and attentive and very fast. My wife had a pork with pommes (with the fabulous tasty sauce.) The Scavenger was butterfly, the pommes hot and tasty. Just perfect. I gave me a sushi platter for a person. Before, there was a fish soup with a lot of inlay. The sushi was simply excellent, top quality, very tasty. We are happy to have found such a great fish restaurant on Föhr and will definitely be there a few times on this holiday.

The restaurant is OK! The sushi is average, but with excellent fish quality. We like to eat the Sashimi and the inside out rolls. Unfortunately, I've never been allowed to eat Aal, even though it's on the map. Probably always sold out. The ambience is rather uncomfortable.
