Sushi Japanese Cuisine - Wyandotte

The restaurant owner will see a 4-star rating due to the price point and the staff. However, huge compliments to the chef who prepared our sushi that evening. Although I didn't catch his name, he was an older gentleman. The sushi prices here are $4-$8 higher compared to other sushi spots in the area, and the selection is slightly limited. Despite this, the food was delicious. It took nearly 90 minutes to receive our order of 6 rolls, but the restaurant was quite busy. We were informed that two chefs had called in sick, leaving only one chef to handle everything. He apologized sincerely for the delay. Our bill for 5 rolls and chicken teriyaki totaled $110. We plan to return to see if they have resolved the staffing issues and if the problems mentioned above have been addressed, I will happily update my review to 5 stars. On a side note, we wanted to bring my 10-year-old brother here for sushi, but some of the roll names are not suitable for his age. In summary, this is a lovely small sushi restaurant with delicious flavors, but the prices are a bit steep for a regular visit. I may return, but it's hard to justify the cost when there are other sushi places nearby offering similar taste at a lower price.

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Even though I wasn't in the mood for sushi, I decided to try the Japanese Tenderloin cooked medium rare. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked to my liking. We also tried the crab rolls and roasted dumplings, which were beautifully presented. My friend ordered the surf and turf roll and Cali roll, and he said they were both delicious. The waiter was attractive and well-spoken, and the chef even came out to ensure our steak was prepared correctly. I will definitely be visiting the Sushi Bar in Wyandotte again.

We have been dining at Sushi for approximately a year now. The food is exceptional and the service is outstanding! I especially enjoy the quaint Koi pond indoors.

I can't say enough good things about Sushi Bar! We felt completely safe with social distancing. Our server, Missy was perfect. Great with suggestions! We ordered the TNT roll, Lobster (which was AWESOME), the Detroit and Spider Roll. I have the Toykyo mule that was fantastically delicious, and my wife got the Maddie garden with Gin. Just as delicious!! We're coming back! And soon!!!

Fantastic sushi! Fantastic food! Highly recommend. Abigail our waitress was wonderful. Had slight issue with bill but manager took care of us. We will be back and you should too!
