R J Deli - Wyandanch

I visited this deli today and informed the lady that I am highly allergic to seafood. Unfortunately, she was handling the food without gloves, which could have led to a severe allergic reaction and could have sent me to the hospital. I don’t understand why she couldn’t listen to me without being defensive. Because of this experience, I will never return to her deli. She lost a customer due to her attitude and failure to acknowledge my serious allergy. They do not use gloves when preparing food, and although I'm not going to report them to the health department, I will simply avoid her store in the future. She was not a pleasant person at all; in fact, she was quite unpleasant.
