Kneipe (hsw Wuppertal)

The pub at the Bergische Universität is a real secret tip and is not only worthwhile for students. The food is delicious, always beautifully dressed and very cheap. The pub can now be visited from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 9 pm (11:30 pm noon ticket, 3:30 pm). There is plenty of space inside and also a large outdoor area with beautiful views of the valley. Table football, billiards and changing artworks invite you to stay longer.

We took our lunch break at a private city tour. Was very delicious and for a good price. We were sitting outside and with our dogs it wasn't a problem. We'll be back. :

Nice staff. Great price-performance ratio. I also find the self-service control completely okay. You can only pay with card, as everywhere in the university. The selection of appetizers and vegetarian/vegan dishes is great, but burgers and noodles are unfortunately almost all main dishes. I also find it a pity that the Falafel-Burger is more expensive than the burger with meat, when you calculate that the latter contains pommes in the price while you have to order them at the Falafelburger. Somehow, in general, a strange regulation. The dish of the photo was very delicious! I'd order it right back. My accompaniment had Tortellini with Gorgonzola sauce. Unfortunately, they were really super faded and the sauce was super watery.

What I expect from a university cafeteria as a senior and regular guest has been completely fulfilled here until recently. Eat great, live from fresh ingredients cooked and prepared in front of the eyes in the wok, small changing map, very tasty, friendly staff in kitchen and cash, absolutely social prices, pleasant spatiality with different areas of stay, large terraces and great views of Wuppertal. And after dinner another milk coffee, cappuccino or espresso from or at the cafe bar. Great, the i-tape! But with the i-tap, which was much more for the flair of the cafeteria than the i-tap, that is, coining next to the wok-kitchen, seems to end. No longer there, the coffee machine with cloths. A great loss of well-being in this place. More lost than saved. Please set up again, then 5 points are back.
