East Oceanfront Dining

No, no and no. I have no words. This is the first time we've ever sent food again. Our host was great. The presentation of the food was good, but this crispy duck was rubbery. There's a microwave. Will never return. This must be the original furniture since they are open.

The restaurant is located in Blockaderunner Hotel. Beautiful views from the inside, with easy access to the resort boardwalk, which was really nice. Coffee was pretty good. I ordered the lobster melette that was really amazing. I had not expected an honest, solid portion of lobster meat, but it was in there... very satisfied. Delicious breakfast potatoes too. 100% would come back and might consider staying at the resort!

I'm so glad we showed up on taco Tuesday! The food and service were fabulous!

Updated May 2022: We had a better experience with our meal here. The service was fast and our waitress was pleasant and helpful. I got the wedge salad with blackened salmon. I can give 4 stars now. I understand this is the hotel's restaurant, but the menu selection is very limited in my opinion. I would recommend the Fish Tacos. My fiance and I would have ate there more during our stay at the hotel, but with such a limited menu we ate there once and the experience was not the best. The manger did make up for it which is why I can only give it a three star review.

Great food. Obvious attention to detail. For breakfast, one of the best waffles I have ever had. The malt added an extra layer of flavor, and it was tender on the inside, crunchy on the outside, with perfectly ripe berries and blueberry sauce. And for dinner, pulling out big pieces of lobster claw meat from the mac and cheese was like finding treasure. Delicious!
