Tyn Y Capel Inn - Wrexham

I visited this restaurant a year ago and ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans, but they were out of beans. When I went back in January 2024 with a friend who wanted curry, we were told they no longer serve it. We ended up getting fish and chips, but my friend couldn't get sweeteners for her tea or bread and butter with our meal because they were out of both. Half of my fish was undercooked and not edible. However, after bringing this up, I wasn't charged for my meal. I won't be going back again.

We dined at this restaurant with three different generations and everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially when a large party showed up without notice. The food, service, and atmosphere were all impeccable and we couldn't find fault with anything.

I recently returned to Tyn Y Capel with my family on Christmas day for lunch, following a wonderful visit a few months prior. It was absolutely amazing.

Christmas Day! What an amazing experience, the food was honestly incredible cooked by Lisa and co in the kitchen, atmosphere was so lovely here! Michael and team out front made the afternoon so enjoyable for me and my family with service so attentive. Thank you so much guys for making our Christmas Day !!

I came with a friend on Monday for some lunch and a pint. We both decided to have steaks both cooked medium well and it was spot on it was cooked to how we like it perfect I would definitely recommend the tyn y capel and the young girl who served us was a very polite young lady and the chef can definitely cook steaks to perfection we may have to make this a regular thing on a Monday it was spot on thanks to the tyn y capel
