Old Nick's Fish And Chip Shop

After undergoing a procedure at the hospital and not feeling up to cooking, we decided to try out this restaurant based on a recommendation. What a disappointment! The chips were inedible and tasted like they had been reheated from a previous batch...straight in the trash. The fish was also terrible...another item that ended up in the bin. A waste of £20.

The fish and chips were absolutely perfect! They were delivered promptly and were still hot. The portions were huge, and a large order of chips could easily feed two people.

Having found this Fish and Chip shop on Trip Advsor, we ordered for the family on line with home delivery whilst staying in Worthing. The meal arrived exactly on time, was as hot as can be expected and the full order was correct. The portion sizes were good and the quality of the food was good.

Had a great delivery from Old Nick’s. Usually order on the phone and pick up, but was tied up so ordered a delivery. Fish red hot and chicken as well. All tasted fantastic. Great chippy.

Last Friday, for some reason, Old Nick 's was closed, so we thought we would try a different takeaway and chose Worthing 's Fish Factory . Their food was appalling... the cod was in hard, dark brown, over cooked batter and the chips looked like flabby white grubs. Disgusting! (And NEVER again! . Anyway, this week old Nick 's was open again (Phew! and we had our usual Cod and chips... and it was DELICIOUS. Golden crispy batter, crisp chips just perfect!
