Bosun's Cafe - Worthing

I visited this restaurant for the first time and instead of having the breakfast I had planned, I decided to try the beef stew with dumplings (served with bread and potatoes). The stew was excellent, with a generous portion and flavorful, high-quality beef. And all for under ten pounds. I highly recommend it and I hope to come back soon.

I have visited this restaurant three times for Sunday lunch and every time has been perfect. The prices are very reasonable. I also tried their jacket potato during the week and it was delicious and came in a very large portion.

For breakfast, I had mac and cheese with a nice salad. The coffee was served in large, clean cups. The restaurant was tucked away in a side road, but I was pleased to find such a delightful place. The staff was friendly and added to the overall experience.

Bosuns has just reopened after closing in March 2020 due to COVID. It has been completely refurbished. The food remains excellent and the prices are very reasonable. You can have an all day breakfast, a roast with all the trimmings and a dessert. The portions are huge and it is all cooked from fresh, so bear that in mind when ordering. The rice pudding is superb. You can get a class of wine from the micro pub next door. . The ever energetic Jenny and her indefatigable assistant Nicky are excellent.
