Anaz - Worthing

We have been going to Anaz for nearly 18 years now. Without fail, the food and service has always been excellent. It is always good to see Mo and the team.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING I don’t even know how to type it !!!!!! I ordered and they said 45 minutes for delivery 1 hour 15 minutes has gone by and no food I called up. And they said that the delivery driver didn’t know where he was so they are cancelling the order and hung up on me !!! Wow wow wow ! Zero star for customer service

We had a lovely evening in this spotlessly clean Indian restaurant, the service was good and the staff were friendly. We both ordered Mr Naga, it was delicious and perfectly spiced! A few negatives... the food wasn 't piping hot, it seemed like it had been waiting a while to come out to us and some of the lamb strips were a bit tough and fatty, but I can look past this as the flavour was divine! The sauce was nice and thick and not an oily slop like at most places these days. The onion bhajis were very good too. I was honestly shocked to see so many bad reviews as they don 't seem to ring true to us, and does not reflect our good experience. One thing I wasn 't keen on though was seeing what appeared to be regular customers entering and standing around in the kitchen area talking to chef...especially when you hear her say I have been quite unwell recently ...you must think of hygiene especially when food is being prepared and cooked. So long to wait that we told them don't bother Regular customer qont be back again ever !!! Why does know one want to work anymore ? They will be begging for business soon !!!!
