J J Pizza Express - Worcester

I called to tell someone that they made my order wrong. I asked for a turkey BLT with extra mayonnaise and American. There was no bacon no American cheese so they gave me provolone.. and no mayonnaise . I asked them if they could remake it or give me a refund. they said they can have the driver send me a cup mayonnaise and a side of bacon LMAFAO I said “no thank you because you also said you don’t have American cheese and it would’ve been nice if you said that in the beginning of my order because I’ve would’ve canceled it” They kept insisting to remake the sandwich, but I kept telling them I do not want it. I just want to refund. After all that, they tell me that their manager isn’t in today so I would not be able to issue me a refund today So I have to call back tomorrow. So I said “OK, what time will the manager be in? And may I get your name in case and your managers a little bit confused about what I’m calling about” He started speaking to someone else in his language. Disregard that I was still on the phone. Pick the phone up and said “ I’m gonna send back the driver to pick up the sandwich”. So I said “OK and what exactly will you do with the sandwich I opened it up and touched it. It’s up here in my apartment.” He said “ you want your refund, I want my sandwich” so I’m like how does that work? “You get your sandwich back today and I don’t get my money because your manager is not there” so I told him respectfully bring it to me in cash. Don’t eat here they’re so rude. The food is always dry or cold. Every time I make a call to this establishment somebody’s just so rude.

As someone from out of town, I was told that I would be getting the best food and it did not disappoint. We ordered a small specialty calzone and pizza, and it was amazing. My initial thought was that it was just pizza, but it turned out to be very flavorful with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and meat. Overall, it was delicious and exceeded my expectations.

I tried the Alfredo pasta that was highly recommended by a blogger, but I was disappointed. I didn't think it tasted like traditional Alfredo and there was an overwhelming amount of cheese. I believe there is room for improvement in the dish.

When they have a high volume of orders, this restaurant fails to deliver. They advise you to seek out another pizzeria and suggest trying again at a different time. If they are unable to serve their customers, they should consider closing.

I usually order here never an issue, last night I ordered 3 large pizzas they were all paper thin on one side thicker on the other seemed like a table spoon size of sauce was spread around so thin it was cheese and dough! The BBQ chicken pizza so disappointing hardly any chicken very little bbq and the cheese on all the pizza was burnt, not to mention $47 and then tip!!! So aggravating won’t order here again, save yourself the disappointment.
