Dairy Queen (treat) - Wooster

This place is so Wooster, crappy service, crappy product. Wrong order was given, I brought it back, but went inside (this was during the summer in July, so they would not come to the window...would look at me and then ignore, never came to window to inquire and I was wearing a mask...they were NOT). I left my order in front of their window. When I move here, I will not be a customer...wish I hadn ' 't given them a tip before checking the order which I started to do but they got angry and told me to 'move on ' and added 'we have customers. Since I used to be in food service and also owned a catering business and food truck...I consider this business unacceptable because of service and product.

I've always enjoyed a trip to Dairy Queen. It's not the best ice cream out there, but it's good and makes for an nice evening jaunt. But the prices are getting rediculous. It's just an ice cream cone, not a steak dinner. For what they charge for a medium Blizzard, I can purchase a 16 ounce container of Ben Jerrys, which is real ice cream. We don't partake any longer.

If you have been to a DQ anywhere else before, you're aware that this is not the place for fine dining and top tier ice cream. However, it is extremely nostalgic and they still have some good options! I tried the DQ in Wooster, and was quite disappointed. I ordered the Royal Fluffernutter Blizzard, and what I received was not even close to the royal blizzards. It still tasted fine, but I have gotten their royal blizzards in the past, and they were not like this. I should have just ordered a regular blizzard with peanut butter at that point. For the price of the nostalgia, the product didn't match up at this location. If I ever crave it again, I'll be driving to another location.

My local DQ did a wonderful job of customizing a birthday cake for my son. Friendly customer service was provided and all questions were answered appropriately. I highly recommend Dairy Queen for all your party cake needs.
