Deddeh Kitchen North Main - Woonsocket

I was craving African food and I Found this restaurant via Google search. This is the only African restaurant I know in the area. The young lady who took my order asked me if I was familiar with African cuisine and I said of course. She was ready to explain what was what and I appreciate that. The food is great and I will definitely be back.

Not in the best location and not the best interior decor. However their Jollof Rice (seasoned rice with carrots and peas) with fried fish was amazing! We also requested the hot sauce on the side and man this dish had authentic flavor. We also got the kinkey combo which was also good but we was a fan of one of the items on it. Overall delicious if you want to have more flavor besides salt and pepper on your food!

I ordered okra soup with rice, but the soup had an unpleasant taste, reminiscent of baking soda and soap. I ended up having to discard the entire meal.

The soup and stew were incredibly flavorful, paired perfectly with delicious fufu. I'm sure the jollof rice and other dishes are great as well, but I simply can't resist the fufu with spinach or cassava whenever I'm in Woonsocket. It's my must-have!
