I've had pizza from this restaurant couple of times and it's always great! They even have great delivery service when the weather is crappy outside. I highly recommend this establishment.
This review is NOT about the Elmira Store. It is SOLEY about the WEBER STREET store. there was no site to rate the Weber Street store. We had been screwed over by our regular pizza place (had been going there for 15 years) after new management took over. They (Tito's @ Country Hills Drive) were so rude and ignorant that we decided to find somewhere else to go for Pizza and Wings. After checking out reviews on the internet we decided to try Pyramid Pizza on Weber Street. What a joke that was. We ordered The Pizza and 1 LB Wing Combo with an extra pound of wings on the side and 2 extra Wing sauces. My husband went to pick our order up. When he got home I looked at the wings in the box (there was 18 very small ones in there). I told him to take our kitchen scale (which is calibrated) and weighed them. It weighed out to a little over a pound. My husband called to inform them that we were short changed by 3/4 of a pound. He was told that "there are 8 to 10 wings per pound" and we got what we paid for. There is NOTHING on their menu that says you're paying by the piece...rather than a pound, nothing that says their pound is 8-10 wings. The wings were so small that it actually takes about 15 wings to make up a pound with 4 left over. Now that's about 15 wings short of 2 pounds. He was told that no restitution would be made, we just had to deal with it...and then my husband was hung up on. I took it upon myself to call the manager and explain to him what happened. He was appalled at the way we had been treated and promised to speak to the owner and get back to me. I accepted his assurances and was willing to wait for his call. About 5-10 minutes later, they young man who spoke to my husband on the phone called my home...guess the manager called him and told him to call and make things right giving him our number. The conversation with this kid was nothing but him making excuses for why he was right and why I as a customer, was wrong. He told me that "(I) was the ONLY ONE who ever complained about this store...and I was the ONLY ONE that has ever complained about HIM. First, he denied he ever hung up on my husband...but then he said that their phone goes out all the time. I said he should have called back if that had happened and he told me that my husband should have been the one to call back if he really cared about his complaint. I asked him if he was willing to make this right and he said "NO. I have 6 people in line in my store that like us and I need to look after them". He told me he would weigh wings in his store and see how many were in a pound. I told him that it would not be accurate reading because they weren't the wings we got. He then told me to bring them down to the store so he could weigh them. He said he thought I was using a "people scale" instead of a "calibrated kitchen scale". I assured him I was using a proper kitchen scale but he insisted I should bring them in so he could weigh them and he was SURE they would weigh in at 2 pounds. He was really coming off as a spoiled brat. I asked him how old he was and he told me that it was none of my business. Fair enough. But then he said that I must be in my late 70's and intimated that I must be an old woman...but used another word that starts with a B. (I am many years younger than that)! I told him he sounded like my son...and he proceeded to tell me that he could understand why my son would treat me badly. We spoke for 18 mins. and 43 seconds. He NEVER apologized, he continued to berate me, called me a liar, and generally treated me, a customer, like trash. I'm sure there are people who think he's wonderful and charming. but let me warn you, don't EVER complain...he'll put you on his poop list and that's where you'll stay. In his eyes...the customer is NEVER right. ONLY HE IS!
