Corner Lounge - Woodward

I really love this place and the people are fantastic. It's a wonderful dive bar.

What a fantastic little stop! Located on the main road from California to Maine, we decided to venture off the beaten path instead of taking the usual route. This allowed us to explore charming small towns like Woodward and appreciate the untouched landscapes you won't find in California. The girl working there was incredibly laid-back and friendly! We had a great conversation and I loved learning about the bar and the local area from her—a true gem of a place. My friend and I were the only patrons since we arrived early, but I imagine it gets quite lively later in the day with locals. It was definitely a highlight of my trip. She recommended a local farm called The Annex for food, and I must say I had the *best* burger I've ever tasted! I wish I could remember her name (was it Lensy or Kelsey?). I had an amazing experience in Woodward! What a cool city with a great bar and down-to-earth people. Cheers, everyone!

This is a spacious venue that would have earned a five-star rating if I hadn't encountered my difficult ex.
