Bidrage med feedbackWe had a booking for 8.00pm for dinner and were about 10 minutes late. But when we wanted to order the share starting platters - all three on the menu were gone !! They said that it had been a busy night (Friday) and they would see what they could put together for our starters. I thought because they were going to be open on the Saturday that they might have more in the kitchen, but maybe it was just all the fresh daily made items like Arancini balls etc., that were gone. These platters are fairly expensive but do suit 4 people so for between $55 to approx. $57 I suppose that is ok. The chef did put a nice selection together and we all enjoyed it. My main of salmon was delicious - a good size and very tasty. The young waitress was very friendly and an interesting personality and did make for an enjoyable evening.
Visited with a group of 6 friends for dinner on a Saturday eve. Service was excellent and friendly, portions were huge, and food quality was sensational. We tried the mushroom risotto, calamari, chilli mussels, chorizo linguine, chicken parmigiana, and grilled vegetables with haloumi. All were excellent. Will definitely be visiting again, mainly to try all the yummy desserts that we didn't have room for! Tip: 25% off Voucher in the Ent Book ;)
Came here with friends for dinner , lovely friendly waitress and all other staff were really nice . Had the tasting plates which were good value and 2 other mains and the was food plentiful and tasty . Prices were slightly on the high side for a suburban restaurant but would definitely go again
The food and service are both good however for a small, no frills suburban café overlooking a carpark, their prices are more akin to upmarket, rich in ambience restaurants. Lunch for two - paninis with a small serve of chips plus a flat white and a pot of tea was $37. Avoka has just started serving evening meals as well but for a couple sharing a bottle of red (they are NOT byo), two middle of the range main meals and a coffee afterwards the bill would be well in excess of $100. Woodvale is crying out for good, moderately priced, byo eateries but at these prices, Buffet Amici, Sun Seng Chinese or Royal Taj Indian, all nearby and all byo are much better value.
I've commented previously on this place but now they are open for dinner too. Good choice on the menu and food was really cooked to perfection. It won't be the cheapest meal you can buy but it's still good value considering how good it tasted
