Taste of China - Woodstock

During our visit to see family, we decided to dine at this restaurant. There was plenty of food available for all six of us, although some trays were occasionally empty. The staff did refill the trays, but I wish there were more options available at all times. At times, we had to wait for certain dishes to be replenished or settle for something else.

I was the only one dining in at this restaurant (others were getting take out) and the young woman in charge went above and beyond to accommodate me. She was very attentive and even apologized when she was busy with a take out order and didn't refill my water when it was halfway gone. The dessert at the buffet was a bit lacking, but the other food was delicious.

We had a family lunch at the Taste of China with everyone sampling the buffet. Fairly gòod selecton of dishes but for the most part very bland. Crab rangoons however were excellent.Service was prompt and attentive, pricing very inexpensive.My biggest concern was both emergency exits from the dining room were obstructed.Adding a little spicy could move this to excellent.

Too much money for lousy food. Don't go bother eating there, six of us went for a meal and all agree that it was terrible food especially for 18 bucks.

I personally don't like and would not recommend eating buffet at this restaurant although it is the only choice of Chinese buffet in the little town. No competition!I did order a Pork with Mixed vegetables from the menu. It totally changed my perception of the restaurant. My order was enough for two people and it was so delicious with the perfect combination of meat and a good variety of vegetables including broccoli, carrots, Bok Choy, Green pepper and mushroom.I was glad to finally find this restaurant after living in this town for weeks.
