The Churchill Room At The Feathers

Unfortunately we did not cost our meal here. the food was lukewarm, some were tasteful, but some were not. the waitress seemed to be a loss, what to say when we told her about eating. the owner came by to ask our opinion about eating, and even though he said he was sad that we did not enjoy our meal and would talk to the cook, he also went to great pain to defend it, even if we told him that we had also heard another table complaining about their meal and sending it back. in the night there was only another party in the restaurant, so the atmosphere was not great, but that was not her fault. everything said it wasn't a great experience.

I really enjoyed lunch here, it’s in such a nice pretty location, the welcome was warm, the food was good and the service was excellent My only disappointment was that no alternatives were offered for foods that were not suitable because of dietary requirements. Excellent value however and the malted crime brûlée with cornflake ice cream was fantastic. I would recommend this venue, could do a little better for those with dietary requirements but it was overall good food and great value.

We had a happy time. Lovely food and lovely place! Couldn’t ask for more!

Eating was overly complicated. too spicy, too spicy, too many strange tastes. the portions of the main meal were very small and the portions of the adjacent orders too large. it was not enough on the teller for someone with appetit. the main course lasted long until the restaurant was almost empty. the waiter was very polite and took our order quickly. it was expensive for what it was. I think the kitchen tried too hard to twist everything and unfortunately it didn't work.

Limited choices, but really nice what we had. Staff very attentive helpful.
