Bidrage med feedbackOrdered the small Margherita pizza, chicken penne a la vodka and bolinha de quiejo. The pizza was my fave! It was a nice portion for 2 people. The penne a la vodka was more creamier than I would?ve liked- good flavor but wouldn?t consider it a classic penne a la vodka. The Bolinha de Queijo was a little too greasy but overall good. Reasonable priced, I would order the pizza again
I ordered eggplant parmigiana (delicious by the way) on a hero and asked for the bread on the side so there is zero sogginess by the time it arrives. They delivered it exactly as I requested. Their sautéed spinach side is not too salty or oily. Thank you!
In terms of flavor, I wasn’t overly impressed with my first bite, but by the time I reached my third slice, I found it quite good. Overall, it's solid but not exceptional. I might give them another try since I haven't found anything that really stands out in the area. Pizza in Queens definitely has a different vibe compared to Manhattan, but I do enjoy Astoria. Update: After reflecting on my review, I’ve decided to give it 4 stars. I’m leaning towards 5 stars, but the pizza just didn’t wow me. It's good but not something I’d go crazy over—just four slices that don’t feel particularly special. I’ll try to update my review once I finish the rest of the pizza.
The pizza here is excellent! You can choose between à la carte options or a rodizio (all-you-can-eat) style. There are nine different flavors, including some unique Brazilian options. Plus, you’re welcome to bring your own wine. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot for a date. It’s small with a simple but lovely décor. I visited on a Sunday evening before a Monday holiday at 7 PM, and it was empty at first, but it quickly filled up. One downside is parking; it’s located in a residential area without dedicated parking spaces, so you'll need to find street parking.
This Brazilian pizzeria is definitely worth checking out, especially for their Brazilian appetizers. While the Italian pizza was decent, I personally favor traditional Italian joints like Rocco's for a regular pizza. However, Rocco's doesn’t offer Brazilian sausage or some of the other unique options available here. The staff at this pizzeria are very friendly and clearly put in a lot of effort. They offer a good variety of pizza slices, and on certain nights, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat option. Their lunch buffet is priced at $6.99 per pound and includes a free salad. Plus, they have games and a large communal table where families can gather and enjoy their meal together.
