Bird in Hand winery - Woodside

Did a wine tasting and decided to stay for lunch. 3 courses. The complimentary bread and olives were beautiful. Entree was lovely(eggplant) but way to big for an entree, and same went for the main(beef brisket) lovely but too much food. They came with free sides which we didn't even touch really. Cancelled 1 dessert being way to full to eat anymore. The chocolate mousse wasn't great- weird texture and very bitter! Found out it had no dairy and had avocado in it. Will go back again though. Service not the best I have ever had but staff were nice.

What a beautiful setting, amazing wines and top notch service. Cellar door was great. Highly recommend!!

Food and service were excellent. Location is beautiful. Really had the most enjoyable lunch for a long time. Only criticism is that the day we were there, we found the Restaurant very stuffy. The weather is now heading into cooler months, but with the fire and the sun coming in through the windows (not sure if there was also airconditioning, the room became uncomfortably hot. Staff only too happy to lower the blind, but did not help a lot. We actually had to leave and have coffee outside to get some air.

This Winery is fantastic from the minite you go up the drive. The wines are Excellent . All the winerys we visited from the Barossa , McLaren Vala , Adelaid Hills they all had there own styles & tasts, we really did enjoy the wines of this area .We did a wine tasting. Would Highly Recommend . It is a place we will certainly be going back to .

Very nice winery and beautiful location looking over the rolling hills. Small but good selection of wines and all very nice.
