Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely adore Scribblers! Everyone is kind and inviting, and the environment is darling. The oat milk is a delicious milk alternative, too! Shoutout to Bobby for recommending the beet salad and for making a heart on my latte
The best coffee spot in town! Friendly and great atmosphere, with restaurant style food that's easy to grab and go!
Seems to be one of the comforable casual Coffeehouses plus, meaning they serve alcohol type beverages also. It 's not 'too comfortable that you fall asleep ' not too casual as the staff are not wearing pajamas. The feel of SCRIBBLER 'S COFFEEHOUSE is open, a loft like room in back, where I enjoyed my latte muffin, with the front room more cozy in earth tones tunes. My budget rated this COFFEEHOUSE 4 stars, rest of me rated 5 stars.
I've been wanting to explore Woodland for a long time, and I finally got around to it today. I scoured the web for recommendations about coffeehouses in Woodland, and the one that consistently got the best reviews was Scribbler's on Main Street. Those reviewers were not wrong! This coffeehouse is terrific (with a few minor caveats). Here are the highlights: 1) lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor! There is a big table for large groups, at least three couches and/or armchairs, and seven or so outdoor tables, about half of which are shaded by a canvas awning that blocks out the sometimes brutal Central Valley sun. 2) Great coffee with lots of options and knowledgeable, friendly baristas! 3) Outdoor seating is non-smoking and pet-friendly! 4) A few coveted electrical outlets! 5) Reasonable noise level! 6) Great location, right along Main Street, close to attractions, shops, and other restaurants. 7) Free wifi! All of these equal terrific coffee shop experience in my book. The few drawbacks: 1) Street parking. Usually not a huge problem in Woodland, but it is an issue. 2) Prices are high, considering the locale. I paid $5+ for my red-eye (coffee with a shot of espresso) which would raise eyebrows even in San Francisco, where I live. 3) No electrical outlets on the patio, but honestly, I'd rather have the shade (provided) than be able to plug in. I will be coming here again, for sure. I think it's worth the 1-hour-plus drive from SF to have this kind of experience. Thanks, Scribbler's!
This is one of the best coffee spaces between Davis and Woodland with a great indoor and outdoor study space. They have comfy couches, roomy benches and lots of tasty options on their menu. Be aware, the prices are set for a coffee house, mid to high. You'll pay a pretty convenience fee for a snack, essentially.
