Brown's Corner Grill - Woodland

This is a great bar for food and drinks in the area. I would mainly order the crispy beef tacos here and they are pretty good. My friends have tried the burgers here and they mentioned they are good as well. The drinks can be strong at times and that is a plus. The food and drink prices are reasonable. Customer service can be unpredictable at times since the bartender can be pouring drinks and serving at the same time.

I am giving this place 1 star for their performance on 2/22/18. When I typically visit this establishment I go during the day on a weekend when it's busy but service is typically good. Last night went in about 6:30 for dinner. There were a few folks at the bar, but otherwise the place was empty and the kitchen was not busy. Sat at a table in front of bar by window and waited. Bartender (latina female) just stood there and didn't say a word. Never came to our table to drop menus or indicate she would be with us. She wasn't serving anyone at the time. She stood behind the bar looking at us on occasion but otherwise doing nothing. The bearded owner was walking around doing stuff. After 5 minutes of her blatantly ignoring us, we got up and left to Plainfield Station.

We just had a 70th and a 40th birthday party here on Saturday night and everyone had a blast. Want to thank the staff and the owner for doing such a great job. Awesome atmosphere for over 40 plus family and friends that attended, as well as the regular customers. Food was great!! Thanks again from Alex/Olivia.

I use to love their pastrami sandwich. Went yesterday for lunch first time since new ownership. Staff was friendly. Ice tea tasted like dirt and the lack of pastrami sandwich was the worst I've ever had. There might have been 3 shriveled up peices of flavorless meat with hot slimy tomatoes. There were more pepperacinis than anything else. Told the waitress it was bad and she said sorry. Reminds me to write a review for Elephant Shack...their sandwiches are the same price and actually worth it.

The food here was excellent. It's a small bar and grill, but excellent service. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. We were in town for a wedding, but we will definitely be back to this grill.
