Sequoia - WOODEND

My great 2 course lunch at Zarby's in Woodend. Feasted today for lunch at Zarby's and left very happy contented. I chose the Pasta of the Day Penne Carbonara with a beautiful creamy sauce and then I just couldn't resist a dessert of a mini pavlova with mixed berries and strawberry sauce, it was truly yummy. At $22.50 for the 2 courses I felt it was excellent value also excellent friendly service was provided. The restaurant has a very pleasant modern, bright décor with plenty of space. Fabulous lunch. We had a lovely midweek lunch as a group of 8 . The lunch special included a complimentary glass of wine that was lovely quality and my meal of calamari was great for $15. The waitress was nice . There is plenty of room for walking frames, prams et. Generally l would highly recommend the menu, meals and restaurant. I am looking forward to my next visit....I forgot to mention the delicious, freshly baked sticky date pudding icecream..... Too good !!
