Rocco's Pizza - Woodbury

I have been a longtime customer of Rocco's, but I have been ordering less frequently in recent years to eat healthier. I decided to treat myself and ordered online for my favorite pizza with pepperoni and Canadian bacon, as well as some chicken strips. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the online discount code on their website, which would have saved me about $4. In addition, there was a delivery fee and the driver asked for a 15% tip. This left me a bit disappointed as I have always enjoyed their food in the past. The pizza arrived on time, but it was cold and the sauce seemed watered down compared to what I remember. The boneless chicken strips also disappointed me as they were cold, thin, and dried out, seeming more like processed chicken rather than real breast filets. I might stick with the bone-in wings if I ever order from Rocco's again, but the last time I had them they were mostly skin and fat. I may consider ordering by phone and picking up my order in person next time.

The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic. It is consistently delicious, reliable, and offers great value for the price.

Great za, they nail the Trinity here (cheese, dough, sauce) and you can tell they've been making pizzas for years.Keep it up!

First time trying the food and I'm on my way right back for a refund. Workers all amazing guys. Pizza not tasty at all and the Calzone is served with ice cold sauce.

I am a transplant from Chicago for over ten years and I have lived in several different parts of the city which allowed me to have tried so many different pizza places. There are some decent spots until I discovered Rocco's. Most people in Chicago eat thin or a medium crust. Yes deep dish pizza is eaten too but not as the go too. Rocco's thin crust is best pizza that I have had and definably a true Chicago pizza. I believe its the sauce which brings me back to my roots. Please try it and you wont be disappointed. Rocco's is outstanding. 2 last notes. I did not rate atmosphere because it is take out place. Last they list a Chicago style pizza which sounds very different. I was told it has the sauce on top of cheese. So it must be deep dish but the menu has both listed on the menu. So I do not want to confuse anyone. I am highly recommending just the standard thin crust which really tastes like how a Chicago pizza should be. Yummy!!!! It's a solid TEN.
