Volpe Ristorante - Woodbury

The food at this restaurant was not up to par. The mozzarella and prosciutto seemed like they were bought from a supermarket, the short ribs, turkey, and cornbread were all dry, and the pumpkin pie was just average. Additionally, I had a negative experience with the manager. Initially, she claimed I didn't pay enough and tried to overcharge me by $50. When I questioned her about it, she rudely insisted that I had given her enough money but refused to provide me with a correct receipt. Overall, I do not plan on returning to this establishment.

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, receiving a score of 5. The atmosphere was nice, scoring a 4. I highly recommend trying the Homemade Tiramisu and Fritto Misto dishes. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available at this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I have to give this restaurant 3 stars. I attended a wedding here and was not impressed. I tried the Calamari, Caprese, and Antipasto Toscana for appetizers, followed by a Caesar Salad, Filet, and Shrimp for my main course. The calamari was chewy, the caprese lacked balsamic, and the Caesar was disappointing. Some guests had the Salmon, which was cooked well but without much flavor. I ordered the Filet cooked medium rare, but it came out medium and was also bland like the salmon. The shrimp and au gratin potatoes were the highlights of the meal. The hostess downstairs was not very friendly, but the wait staff at our table was attentive and improved the overall experience.
