Baton Rouge Restaurant - Woodbridge

On Friday at 6 pm, I had a reservation at this restaurant for my first visit. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who led us to our booth in the beautiful dining room. The background music was at a perfect volume, not too loud. Our server, Lexy, was fantastic and answered all of our questions about the menu, wines, and beer. The French onion soup was great and my ribs were cooked perfectly and served with a loaded baked potato and fresh vegetables. The back ribs from Nabeby's were delicious and fell off the bone, with a tasty BBQ sauce and house made coleslaw on the side. Lexy provided exceptional service throughout our meal, making our evening even more enjoyable. The Duty Manager also greeted us as we left.

The restaurant is nice, but the food was just average and a bit disappointing. The service was excellent, however, the atmosphere was really noisy with the music blaring too loudly.

First of all, despite the name, this is not Creole Essen. Steaks and ribs, but also burgers and other sandwiches. Great restaurant, but not much atmosphere. The service was okay. Food was good, but too expensive not really value for money.

I recently ordered their $25 special... 10 oz ribs, fries, mac cheese gnocchi salad. Due to the pandemic, I had to pick it up and took it home. I must say for take-out it was great, it wasn't cold and the fries weren't...soggy. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the ribs!
