Il Castello's - Woodbridge

My wife and I decided to try IL Castello's in Woodbridge on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere was upscale with waiters dressed formally. It was our first time there, and we decided to try two of their daily specials. For an appetizer, we had a halved avocado stuffed with crabmeat, and for our main course, we ordered a pasta seafood dish with salmon. We would recommend this restaurant to others and would love to try their signature dishes next time.

First time at this restaurant and we were ridiculously impressed. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Jose was wonderful and cannot say enough good things about him! Il Castello's has yet to serve anything less than an amazing meal I have gone twice now, the latest was yesterday for my birthday dinner with 8 of my family members. Having eaten my way through most of NJ's best Italian restaurants, I can say without a doubt this restaurant is better than most! It's quite a hidden gem, but worth returning to. We have eaten everything from pork chops, scallops, shrimp and calamari, broccoli rabe, steak, and a vast number of pasta dishes all of them have been incredibly fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The only area that I think needs a bit of improvement is the ambiance and atmosphere, as it's quite an outdated and could use some new furniture, etc!

Service was okay. We had dinner there and the food was decent. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. It was a bit difficult to find parking.
