Bidrage med feedbackWe went in Sunday around 1pm. It was not packed at all. Two employees were standing near the host desk…looked right at us and kept talking to each other. A manager was directing someone to their seat a few steps away from us. When she was done…she went back to standing by tables. Another waiter passed us..not a word. Another manager talking to the bartender looked at us, talked to a table and then looked at us again. Then went back to talking to the bartender. We just left. ?
I've never had bad outback until now, I'm pretty simple with food. For the life of me, I do not know how you screw up cheese fries and bread but somehow this place nailed it. Hard dry fries, very small portion, barely any cheese or bacon. The cheese that it did have was hard. The bread was rock hard on the bottom but soft on the top. Do better Outback
Been coming to outback for 15+ years. Haven’t been in awhile. Went back last night (4/20/24). Worst experience ever. From the start the hostess was rude, acted like we were inconveniencing her by putting in our name to be seated. Told us a hour (wasn’t very busy), got a text 15 minutes later that table was ready. Hostess was trying to get us to leave with the long wait time .People like that just shouldn’t be dealing with people. 1 thing we noticed that was very odd was our server Julian slams everyone’s drinks down. Even the lady sitting next to us at another table. She said she thought someone threw something at her when he slammed her glass down on the table.Blooming onions are tiny compared to what they used to be.(shrink-flation, I get it, just disappointing) I ordered a beer and when brought out literally looked like a little worm in the glass. Glasses were nasty. Took an hour to get our food. My steak was over cooked, my wife’s was undercooked (we both ordered them medium). Brussels sprouts were very bland and cold, overall was just mediocre. Server slammed down 1 refill 1 time for 1 of our 5 person party. Everyone else sat there with empty glasses. We had a similar experience at the same location about 6 months ago.We go to a steakhouse almost every weekend. Anymore usually longhorn. Outback used to be on the same level as the other options. Outback is a step down anymore. Honestly don’t think we will go back. Food, service, and staff is all lacking. This seems extremely common anymore, employees with attitudes, service lacking, etc. Not just Outback but almost everywhere. But there are other restaurants out there that haven’t lowered their standards like this. I’ll be visiting them next week.
This was my first time trying Outback. I won’t be returning. The blooming onion was burnt, sprite was flat and when I asked for water instead she said the carbonation was out. I ordered medium rare and medium well steaks that came out rare and well done. I had to ask for ranch multiple times before I received it. I left most of my steak because it was just not good. There were literally 2 pieces of shredded cheese on my baked potato. The only thing that was good was the French onion soup.
Once again we had the best food and service. You can’t beat this price point either.
