Charlie's Drive-in - Wood River

I've been here since I was a little child, and I brought my own children here! I never had anything like the pizzaburger they serve, and their fried mushrooms are the best I ever had. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is so good. such people lead the place and work there!

That was a family tradition to eat here, I love bringing my children/family for a nice night, it is nice to sit right in their car and have supplied the food directly to their car! I have never had a complaining at this business once in years, our orders are always right, best root beer in the city, best food in the city, the owners go over and beyond for their customers and the girls who work here are super friendly and make them make sure to check if they need something! best business in the city, and I highly recommend that a family come and experience the eating, courtesy and fun!

I grew up in Hartford ill. charlies drive in, is the place to go. for a great root beer. I'm going there. with my family and friends.

Down! my father went to woodriver hs and grew up there when I went there as long as I remember when we visited my grandparents. we live in houston and my big parents both died, but not a day passes in the summer that I don't miss the root beer! the hang, as I called it when I was and could not read, will always have a special place in my heart

The service was friendly and the food was promptly delivered. The Pork Tenderloin was delicious, and my husband loved the Catfish basket! The fried zucchini were also excellent.
