The Stouch Tavern is delicious food in a beautiful historical location. This is my visit for special occasions. If you can request your reservation a table near the fire. Service is always amazing and the food is never less than spectacular. One must try is the Stouch Tavern crab soup, one of the best dishes you ever have! There is no option on the menu that is disappointed. Desserts are also amazing if you have a chance, no banana care or the Stouch Tavern bread pudding. Several special items are made on the table side, which is also a fun experience. Very recommended!

Great place to go to celebrate anniversary, birthday, romantic dinner. The menu can be a bit pricey but worth it. They have excellent steaks and seafood. My wife and I love there house specialties one is the skewer with fillet, shrimp and scallops. The other is called the house specialty which is fillet medallions with ham and cheese with an onion ring topped with a mushroom, burgundy gravy. Great fresh salads and homemade soups. They also have a great lunch buffet special changes daily. Menus available on line. Outstanding deserts from homemade pies, cakes to bread pudding. Full bar service. Service and atmosphere is outstanding. May I suggest visiting during Christmas season with the fireplace and decorations well worth it. The only thing that might be a negative for some is restrooms are on second floor.

We were there for a 90th birthday party of a friend. There were about 35 guests in attendance. The dinners were efficiently served and very, very tasty. All the vegetables when cooked properly and the chicken and Ham combination was very well prepared. The Apple Betty dessert was spectacular. We live in New Jersey and this tavern is 110 Mi away from us. Unfortunately, it will be difficult for us to get back there. But we certainly do recommend it.

Celebrate our anniversary and son in the law's birthday. Very good. It was a special house. It was great. We had bananas for dessert. Delicious. They don't tremble like many places. Very recommended
