Bantock House Museum Cafe

I want to give a big thank you to the staff at the Cafe. My friends and I come here every week and we always receive a warm welcome. The snacks, tea, and coffee are top-notch and the atmosphere with other customers is always lively. I highly recommend stopping by for your morning coffee or afternoon tea.

After touring the house and gardens, we opted to have brunch at the restaurant. Our meal of a small cappuccino, tea, bacon bap, and cheese on toast came out to just under £11, which we found a bit expensive. The drinks were served in paper cups and the food was given to us in a paper bag, which made it feel more like a takeaway meal than a proper sit-down dining experience. It would have been more environmentally friendly to use proper crockery for serving the food.

The cake was delicious and the tea was hot, but the service was a bit slow. The outdoor seating was pleasant. I can't remember how it was inside. It's located in Bantock Park, which is also a very enjoyable recreational area.

I had the smallest regular coffee I have ever seen and served by the most miserable person ever!! Why work in this industry if you are miserable and cant be nice to people !

Visited today after ages! Customer service was brilliant and so welcoming! Definitely will go there again.
