Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant for a hamburger but was disappointed with the garlic bread appetizer, which was overly saturated in butter. The garlic flavor was barely noticeable and the texture was unappetizing. I ordered the original lamb smoky burger, which was also a letdown. The lamb patty was tough and seemed overcooked, lacking the desired smoky flavor. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the price of $17. I have had better burgers at fast-food chains. We only ate half of our meal before deciding to leave. The manager was friendly and helpful, but it was too late to salvage the experience. This was my first and last visit to Outback Jacks. I'm sorry to say that I would not recommend it.
Family of 4 well catered with good range of kids "and chips" menu options plus bowl of veggies (so rare to find in kids menus). Salad with steaks was better than average (not just limp lettuce!) and nice serving staff. Steaks were very nice and cooked perfectly despite how busy the place was.
First time having a meal here and we enjoyed our lunch. Price was good and so was meal. Service was great and atmosphere was lovely . All up good experience . We will be back ;)
Four of us for dinner should have been an enjoyable night out, and it looked like it would be so with our vibrant waiter ensuring we were all settled in very quickly. We all ordered steaks (3 x Neptune and 1 Sparrow) and sadly, all four of them were undercooked (1 medium and 3 medium rare were served as 1 medium rare, 2 rare, and 1 blue). While two of our party ate theirs without return to the kitchen, the other two requested a response. The waiter summoned the manager, who agreed the two remaining steaks were not to order. He then simply stood there and offered nothing until I asked, "so where do we go from here?" He replied, what do you want me to do?, and offered a recook or replacement meals (we opted for the latter). The replacement meals were quite nice and to order. The disappointment comes not so much from the wrong order being served in the first place (although it was disappointing), but more from the lack of taking control by the manager. I guess I expected a more decisive and customer centric approach to the situation. When you consider the four steaks are a $120+ meal, incorrectly cooked, it is not the best value spend for a Saturday night. We took our post dinner dessert and coffee cravings elsewhere.
Got in at 7pm on a Friday, moderately busy, food did not arrive until 7:50pm. Most tables around us looked very unimpressed as well with no food. When the food did arrive the portions were very small considering the average steak was $35. The steak was tiny and accompanied by a bulk made very sad looking coleslaw and soggy "garden" salad. The appearance was similar to a high school camp meal. The baked potato was very basic and seemed to just be there to make the plate look full. There were little touches that made the night more of a disappointment. The lighting was so bright I felt like I was sitting in a dentist chair and the cabinet at the front displaying meat ect had mouldy carrots and vegetables that were disgustingly out of date. Would not recommend this place. Poor management, poor portion sizing and poor attention to detail...
