City Diggers - Wollongong

We visited the Bistro during our family trip to Wollongong over the Labor Day weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was top-notch in both portion size and taste. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Wollongong.

Order meal, was recommended to wait 20 minutes. 45 minutes later. I'll wait. Now his 50 minutes. Okay, food pretty good, but we're not gonna be back.

Wow! It's been a long time, but that's very nice. Staff friendly. Large lunch menu with reasonable prices. I had a great salad, beautiful dressing with grilled salmon upstairs. It was just perfect. Others had also enjoyed fish with mash and vegetables. Bistro... meals. Central location. Great stop between shopping or lunch with friends.

I recently enjoyed afternoon tea at this cafe. It has a fantastic location in the heart of the city, just a short distance from the bustling Crown Street Mall. The cafe is situated in the Wollongong Ex-Servos Club and has tasteful decor, friendly service, reasonable prices, and consistently delicious food and coffee. I have never had trouble finding a table here and will definitely be returning as a repeat customer.

Bistro/cafe situated in the Wollongong Diggers Club on the corner of Burreli Market St Wollongong. I have eaten here regularly and have always found the food fresh plentiful. The staff are always welcoming friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending this conveniently...located club bistro facility.
