Tides In - Wolfville

Property has improved over the years but I miss the home made food that used to be the calling card for this place. I also miss the Farmers ice cream

Besides the beautiful scenery you can get a very good meal. If you are not in the mood for food, you can always get a delicious ice cream in many flavours. Depending when you go, you will see the tide in or out. The beach is warmer because the tides go out quite far and the sun heats up the sand which in turn heats the water as the tide comes in. It is a favorite spot for fishing for sea bass and flounder from the pier. There is a walkway with info about the migrating birds also. The food is great, the service is great, the scenery is great, so make it a spot on your bucket list.

After leaving Blomington park we stop off at the Seaview brewery where to our surprise he Tides In was connected. I ordered a haddock and fries and was superb. The fish was lightly battered and so light. The fries were also good. My partner had a small salad which was more than enough with tempera 3 large pieces. Dessert look good but once again we didn't save room. A great spot to stop if you are in Canning

OK. From scallop burgers to fish and chips right from the ocean these guys have it. It's also pretty inexpensive. I was able to get a decent meal for about $10. They've got so many fish and chicken option PLUS ice cream flavors galore. Go!

Often take my grand children here when they visit. The owners will try and accommodate all combos of ice cream flavours with no complaints. The fast food is good and fresh. Try not to eat sand in the food if it is windy, as you are right by the beach.
